Welcome to Oh, Say Can You Say! I’m Cassie, and in case you’re curious, here is some background on the lady who writes this stuff you’re reading. I adore Dr. Seuss. I think otters are the cutest thing on the face of the planet. Sarcasm is my weapon of choice. I’m learning about the joys of organic foods. I will rock you at Apples to Apples. I don’t live near the ocean, despite the picture.

When I began thinking about starting up a blog, I wasn’t sure what to write about. Blogs that focus on one subject tend to have a greater following, but there wasn’t just one subject that I wanted to write about and this deterred me from starting a blog for quite some time. Eventually, I realized that a blog could be a journal of sorts – a way for me to express the multitude of thoughts that I have on a daily basis. It could also be a way for me to explore subjects of interest to me. Think of it as a lifestyle blog of sorts.
No, seriously. I’m random as hell. One day you might see a post about TV shows and on another, it’ll be a post about cleaning out my car. Okay, I probably won’t post about something as mundane as cleaning out my car, but you get my drift. You might also see product reviews, foodie posts, music clips, photo posts, movie reviews, outfits I happen to look sexy in, and more. It’s a grab-bag.

I am, by looking at your photos, roughly the same size/weight as you and it took a long time to realize that I am lovely the way I am. And, likewise, I want to share with other women who might occasionally feel down on themselves for not sticking to the predetermined societal beauty model that they are lovely.
